Nicholas Pinnock stars in upcoming thriller Fortitude
LSC graduate Nicholas Pinnock is starring as search and rescue pilot Frank Sutter in Fortitude, Sky Atlantic’s new drama that follows the aftermath of a mysterious death in a close-knit Arctic town. The cast includes many other big names including Christopher Eccleston, Michael Gambon, Luke Treadaway and Stanley Tucci.
Since training at London Studio Centre, Nicholas has gone on to many successful roles on both stage and screen, as well as working in contemporary and commercial dance. He performed with Lea Anderson’s The Featherstonehaughs for several years, before making his Hollywood debut in Captain America: The First Avenger. Roles followed in Alecky Blythe’s docudrama The Riots, acclaimed TV drama The Ice Cream Girls, and the title role in ITV’s Mandela: The Prison Years, which aired shortly after Mandela’s death. Nicholas has also had a varied stage career, from performing Shakespeare at Stafford Castle, to working with Kathy Burke at the Hampstead Theatre. Later this year he will return to the stage in the UK premiere of The Royale at the Bush Theatre.
Nicholas has also taught drama to INTOTO Dance students at London Studio Centre, where students benefit from his diverse range of experiences.
