Overview
There is a focus on core training and technique, the aim of which is to establish a secure foundation upon which a professional future can be built. Mock audition classes and support with application process will help students prepare constructively for the next stage of their training.
This is a 1-year full-time intensive course and can be treated as a diagnostic ‘year out’, post A-level.

Entry requirements
Entrance onto this course is by audition only. There are no academic entrance requirements for this course, but if applicants wish to continue onto the BA (Hons) Theatre Dance or FdA Professional Dance Performance degree programmes applicants will be required to meet the minimum requirements.
All applicants are required to complete an application form and pay the £45 audition fee, this fee covers the processing costs for your entire application.
Applicants for the Foundation Course would normally be 18 or over before September 1st in the year in which they enrol.

In addition to the Tuition Fees advertised above; students may incur additional costs such as dance equipment (including clothing), travel and maintenance.
