Study Ballet at a conservatoire where performance is at the heart of everything you do. London Studio Centre was founded with a world-class pedigree in ballet that carries through to today

Students on the Ballet pathway are trained to the technical and academic standards expected of professional ballet performers worldwide.

As a universal dance language, Ballet forms a foundation upon which many other forms of dance are built, which is why all dance performance courses at LSC incorporate ballet classes. Students who choose the Ballet pathway will be taught to master the most advanced ballet techniques and gain a deep, critical understanding of the form, with specialist courses in repertoire, virtuosity, pas de deux and pointe work. Ballet courses at LSC are adapted from the original course that was developed by Margaret Barbieri in consultation with Dame Alicia Markova.

Graduates from the Ballet pathway at LSC have enjoyed varied careers as performers and choreographers worldwide with such companies as The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Mergaliyev Ballet Company, Ballet Island, Ballet Cymru, International Classical Ballet of Ukraine, Scottish Ballet, Vienna Festival Ballet, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures and West End shows such as The Phantom of the Opera.
